EPoints- comp points
  This section is dedicated to our most valued members whose loyalty to EmpirePoker is beyond question. To us, VIP means Very Important Player and we're going to reward you in a very simple and worthy manner. The basic idea is for you to accumulate EPoints (comp points) - the more you have, the more prizes you can get. These EPoints are redeemable for buying gifts at our EmpirePoker Gift Shop, special tournament buy-ins, a personal web page on EmpirePoker.com, real cash into your EmpirePoker account, and other prizes, which will be announced over time.

How to become a VIP player club Member*

To enter the EmpirePoker VIP Club, first you have to be a real money player on EmpirePoker. Then, you need to accumulate comp points- EPoints and reach a minimum of 5000 EPoints by playing for real as often as possible. As soon as you reach 5000 EPoints (comp points), we'll notify you via e-mail that you're in the Club and you can then continue to accumulate more EPoints while enjoying the wide variety of prizes we'll offer.

How to accumulate comp points-EPoints

EPoints will be accumulated as follows*:

VIP players are given 100% more EPoints for each part of the below formula, which means once you are a VIP member you gain double the amount than the below!

Points will be calculated on a daily basis, and accumulated according to the following set of rules*:

  

THE FORMULA

The formula has four main parameters** to its set of rules:

RAKED HANDS:
Square Root of the number of raked hands.

For Example
Number of raked hands    EPoints for player     EPoints once you are a VIP
121     11     22
81     9     18



PARTICIPATION IN "SIT AND GO" TOURNAMENTS (Multi and Single):
for every $2 you pay the house to enter a single-table tournament, you will be awarded 1 EPoint.

For Example
Buy In- Sit and go     EPoints for player     EPoints once you are a VIP
$20+$2     1     2



PARTICIPATION IN MULTI-TABLE TOURNAMENTS:
for every $1 you pay the house to enter a multi-table tournament, you will be awarded 1 EPoint.

Buy In- multi Table     EPoints for player     EPoints once you are a VIP
$200+$15     15     30



FREQUENCY OF PARTICIPATION IN MULTI-TABLE TOURNAMENTS:
the number of multi-table tournaments ($9 buy-in or more) per day will be squared.

For Example
Multi Table Tournament you play per day EPoints for player EPoints once you are a VIP

IMPORTANT!
  • Comp points- EPoints are calculated and updated once a day
  • Players are awarded 100% more EPoints once they become VIP player club Members - meaning that once you reach 5000 EPoints and become a VIP player club Member, you will receive twice as much as the amount stated in the formula described
