We
are committed to responsible gaming. We seek to not only comply with
all legislation and guidelines provided by online gaming and content
bodies, but to exceed them. However, while most players enjoy poker,
we are aware that a small percentage may try and gamble when under
the legal age limit or for whom gambling may assume too large a role
in their life.
In order to assist players in gambling responsibly we have been
working with GamCare to develop responsible policies and practices
and have implemented the following features on our site:
Customer led deposit limit
Self-exclusion tools
Links to organisations that give information, advice
and practical help
Self Help and awareness information
Information and tools to prevent underage
access
Keeping control
Whilst the majority of people do gamble within their means, for
some it can spiral out of control. In order to help you keep control
we would like you to remember the following:
- Gambling should be entertaining and not seen as a genuine way
of making money
- Avoid chasing losses · Only gamble what you can afford
to lose
- Keep track of the time and amount of money you spend gambling
- If you need help, use the deposit limits and time limits on
the player protection page to control the amount you can spend
- If you need to have a break from gambling then you can use our
exclusion options within the player protection section
GamCare
is the National Association addressing the social impact of gambling.
Empirepoker.com works with GamCare to help develop policies and
practices that address problem gambling in accordance with their
Social Responsibility Code of Conduct.
We are a longstanding member of the Interactive Gaming Council,
an organization that has established guidelines and practices to
guide the gaming industry. In addition we are members of other leading
industry consortiums that are researching methodologies and setting
guidelines for responsible operators to implement to ensure zero
penetration by minors and problem gamblers.

otherwise solve financial difficulties?
