Side bets are a new and fun way to place wagers based on the outcome of the
flop on real money tables. Whether you're a seated player or are just watching,
you can place a side bet on real money Hold'em and Omaha tables.
A side bet is a bet on whether or not the flop will be all red or all black.
(The flop contains the first three community cards that are dealt in Hold'em
and Omaha.) 'All red' means that all three cards in the flop will be red
(diamonds and/or hearts) and 'all black' means that all three cards in the flop
will be black (spades and/or clubs). Side bets that are placed will be valid
for the next hand that is being dealt.
If you place a side bet on red then:
- You will win if the flop is all red (diamonds and/or hearts)
- You will lose if at least one of the cards in the flop is black (spades
and/or clubs)
- Your bet will be returned to you if the flop is not dealt
If you place a side bet on black then:
- You will win if the flop is all black (spades and/or clubs)
- You will lose if at least one of the cards in the flop is red (diamonds
and/or hearts)
- Your bet will be returned to you if the flop is not dealt
