When you read this board, first look to see if the board is paired, which is needed to have a full house. Next, look for a possible flush or a straight. When you look at this board you can see two possible straights, an ace high if someone has a 10 and a J in their hand, or a five high straight if they have a 2 and a 5 in their hand. There are also three spades on the board, which puts out a possible flush. Since there is no possible full house, and there is a possible flush, look for the flush first, simply because any size flush will beat a straight.
